Ladbrokes Easter Festival
Ladbrokes Easter Festival debuted last year and the 2nd Easter Festival started today. Last year was a huge success and with the recent news in the online poker industry I expect this Easter Festival to be even bigger than last year’s festival. Everyone is looking forward to the 2-day main event that will start this Sunday, April 24th at 18:00 UK Time.
The Ladbrokes Easter Festival main event has a guaranteed prize pool of €750,000 although I expect the prize pool to go well over the guaranteed amount. From today until April 25th there are a total of nine events taking place during the Ladbrokes Easter Festival with over €850,000 in guaranteed prize money. As you can see the main event is easily the biggest event during the festival and you don’t want to miss out on it.
By playing in the Easter Festival at Ladbrokes players will receive two special perks. Ladbrokes will be running an Easter Festival leaderboard where the top nine players will win a prize. The 1st place prize is a buy-in to the Irish Poker Festival main event. If you play in the Easter Festival main event at Ladbrokes you’ll receive a ticket to a freeroll tournament with a prize pool of €10,500. The 1st place prize is an impressive €7500 prize package to Las Vegas for WSOP 2011.
Ladbrokes Poker also released a new promotion to celebrate the Royal Wedding. From April 25th to May 1st Ladbrokes Poker will be handing out €1000 prize packages. If you win a hand at showdown with a royal flush you’ll win a €1000 prize package to the Irish Poker Festival.
